Working from a software perspective, it is important to understand the application(s) in use as well as the details of the application required. However, business users in banks may not comprehensively cover these details owing to time constraints or because of an (usually false) assumption that the development vendor understands all the implicit requirements.
Leveraging on their domain knowledge, our business analysts work with you in Business Process Analysis and Mapping. We document your current requirements in a highly structured template, evaluate how processes will be integrated in your new system, undertake gap analysis, make recommendations, and develop business requirements.
We help to map the business processes in 'as is' as well as 'should be', based on studies of your existing business activities and extensive discussions and interviews with your business users. We help you to create a process repository for maintenance of business processes using a process documentation tool. We deliver in situations where little or no documentation exists, as well as under strict timelines.
Our Subject Matter Experts participate in the review of all requirement inputs from your business users, before creating Functional Specification Documents (FSDs). These FSDs are then used by development teams as baselines for design and coding.
